Bruce Ashford is a Head and Neck Cancer Surgeon. He was originally a Dentist. His practice is in Wollongong, where he is also appointed at the University of Wollongong. His PhD is in metastasis in skin cancer.
Dr Ashford has undergraduate qualifications in Dentistry and Medicine and a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in General Surgery. He undertook postgraduate Fellowships at St George and Liverpool Public Hospitals prior to a Microsurrgey Fellowship in Toronto, Canada.
His practice includes both ablative and reconstructive surgery for head and neck disease. He works at Wollongong Public and Private Hospitals, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and the Canberra Hospital.
