Background
Dr Venessa Chin is a medical oncologist and post-doctoral research officer at The Kinghorn Cancer Centre and The Garvan Institute of Medical Research.
She specialises in the treatment of lung and head and neck cancer. She is a member of the cellular and computational genomics lab at Garvan where she is examining how novel genomics methods can help select therapies for patients with advanced cancer.
Her head and neck genomics cancer project is looking at how human papilloma virus infection effects cancer cell behaviour.
